The first weeks at University can be both exciting and daunting. Universitie officials or the Student's Union therefore arrange Fresher's week events. In the week before studies begin, these enable first year students to get to know each other and also meet students who are in their second year, third year and beyond.

These social events are very varied and often based in or close to the University, or students are bussed out to local landmarks, but how about helping fresher's to get to know the University town as well? A town Treasure hunt is a brilliant icebreaker as each team has to communicate and cooperate in order to solve the clues.
